Nasrallah’s speech today at a rally marking the end of the 40-day mourning period for slain Hezbollah chief Imad Mughniyah focused on creating the perception that Israel can be wiped out of existence. Nasrallah knows that perception is more powerful in motivating acts of terror than calls for removing the “occupiers” or calls for revenge for a slain Hezbollah chief. Destroying that perception must be an important dimension in all Israeli policy.
